An animated short film on isolation, Covid-19, and pareidola.  

 

This film explores a lone rower lost at sea who experiences extreme isolation with pareidolia visions as he continues to row to nowhere.  Visions or reality?  The rower has nowhere to go but his own mind.  A visual journey through layers of realities.

Animated using hand drawn animation, film footage, found objects, animated drawings, and motion sequence capture using Procreate on an iPad .
