LITHOGRAPHS

“ I first met Filippo Becattini, master printer at the Edi Grafica Stamparia in Firenze, Italy in the winter of 2004.  At the time I spoke no Italian and he spoke just a little English, yet we worked together on my first lithograph and forged a special friendship through gestures, drawings and common love of the visual image.  I continue to visit his printshop to produce, with his expertise, new lithographs, practice my Italian, and  eat wonderful lunches prepared by his mother Tamara.”
